Trust Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Trust Manager to join our team at AP Group Ltd. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience within the Jersey trust industry, with at least 3 years at the level of assistant manager or above.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain and administer client portfolios in accordance with statutory documents and professional tax and legal advice.
  • Liaise directly with clients and intermediaries, such as bankers, investment managers, and advisers.
  • Establish and grow relationships and networks.
  • Review periodic reviews and ensure that all action points arising from the reviews and risk escalations are managed proactively.
  • Attend meetings with other company functions to perform duties and aid business development.
  • Represent the group as required.
  • Provide technical support to other staff members as needed.
Requirements:
  • A relevant professional qualification, such as STEP, ICSA, or ACCA.
  • Exceptional organisational, communication, and networking skills.
  • A thorough knowledge of Jersey trust, company, foundation, and limited partnership law, as well as other related legal and regulatory requirements.
  • A good understanding of relevant UK tax issues, financial markets, and the world economy.
  • Awareness of risk management.
  • Motivation and drive, with the ability to work under pressure to tight deadlines.
  • Willingness to travel as business needs dictate.
