We are seeking an exceptional Lead Learning Support Specialist to join our team at Aspire People, a leading education agency. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to work in mainstream Primary schools (KS1 / KS2) based in Leicestershire and surrounding areas.

The ideal candidate will be a talented and experienced professional with a passion for building relationships quickly and working in small groups. You will be responsible for carrying out intervention sessions, planning age-appropriate activities, and working with the class teacher to track development and provide feedback.

As a Lead Learning Support Specialist, you will have a strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and parents. You will be patient, resilient, and able to provide emotional support when needed.

Requirements
  • A Level 2/3 qualification in Support Teaching or Learning.
  • Previous experience working with students on SEN.
  • Strong empathy and understanding of individual student needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patient, resilient, and able to provide emotional support when needed.
  • Confident, interactive, and able to work well in a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of students and adapt teaching strategies accordingly.
