CRP Group is seeking a skilled Arborist to work with their client, a specialist in fencing and vegetation management. This client works with leading civil engineering contractors, highways authorities, and rail networks across the UK.

We are looking for a dedicated Arborist, focusing on vegetation management projects along railway corridors. The successful candidate will be responsible for the assessment, maintenance, and management of trees and vegetation to ensure safety, compliance, and ecological health in railway environments. This role requires a strong understanding of arboriculture practices, safety regulations, and the unique challenges associated with working in proximity to railway operations.

Main Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough assessments of trees and vegetation along railway lines to identify health, safety, and maintenance needs.
• Develop and implement vegetation management plans that align with railway safety standards and environmental regulations.
• Perform tree pruning, removal, and planting activities as required, ensuring minimal disruption to railway operations.
• Monitor and manage invasive species and promote the growth of native vegetation to enhance biodiversity.
• Collaborate with railway engineers, environmental specialists, and other stakeholders to ensure effective vegetation management.
• Maintain accurate records of vegetation management activities.
