About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior ICA Engineer to join our team at AtkinsRéalis. As a key member of our engineering team, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our cities and environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage a team to undertake technical design work following relevant design standards and codes.
  • Prepare briefs, scopes of work, and input into bid proposals.
  • Successfully manage time and budgets to key project milestones and programmes.
  • Work closely with teams in the UK and overseas to deliver integrated design solutions.
  • Adhere to quality assurance standards in design.

Requirements

  • Chartered Electrical/Instrumentation Engineer.
  • Experience in design delivery, including multidisciplinary design.
  • Sound knowledge of ICA design, motor control systems, system architecture, fieldbus/communication networks, P&ID's, ATEX installation practice, functional safety, development of control specifications (URS/FDS), schedules and system requirements within process/industrial environment.
  • Proficiency in designing within appropriate digital analysis packages, following applicable standards, working practices and national guidance.

Additional Information

This role may require security clearance and offers of employment will be dependent on obtaining the relevant level of clearance. If this is necessary, it will be discussed with you at interview. The vetting process is delivered by United Kingdom Security Vetting (UKSV) and may require candidates to provide proof of residency in the UK of 5 years or longer.
