Excellent Career Opportunity
We have a fantastic chance for a skilled Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon to join our supportive team at a friendly, progressive veterinary practice. About the Role
- Competitive Salary: Up to £75,000 based on experience and qualifications
- Relocation Support: Available for those moving to the area
- Professional Development: Access to a network of specialists, including orthopaedic, cardiology, and soft tissue consultants, as well as telemedicine support via Vet Oracle. CPD and certificate support are encouraged, and we can help with any outstanding learning agreements
- Collaborative Culture: Staff enjoy working closely with skilled specialists while maintaining continuity of care for clients
- Inclusive Initiatives: The practice engages in progressive workplace strategies, including groups on topics such as menopause support and EDI (Equality, Diversity, and Inclusion)
Our Practice
We are a modern clinic equipped for thorough and efficient case work-ups, with advanced facilities like laparoscopic and digital x-ray equipment, dental x-ray, and a talented nursing team. Vets can develop new skills and bring their unique strengths to a practice that values growth and innovation.
Work-Life Balance
We offer a flexible working schedule, including a four-day work week with a balanced mix of case management and administrative time, including an hour lunch break daily. Part-time arrangements are open for discussion. Saturday mornings are worked on a shared rota basis, and no Sunday, out-of-hours, or bank holiday shifts are required.
Comprehensive Benefits Package: The role includes paid professional fees, a CPD allowance, additional annual leave purchase options, Health Shield cash plan, optional private medical insurance, and discounted pet treatments. A 'Save as You Earn' scheme provides the opportunity to invest in company shares.
