We are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team at Vivergo Fuels. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for leading and managing small discrete projects from concept to execution, utilizing Process Engineering fundamentals. You will work closely with senior engineers to challenge, promote, and facilitate change, and implement improvement projects that optimize plant performance and increase sustainability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Analyze plant data to understand and quantify future availability constraints not currently identified.
  • Develop solutions to current identified constraints, create management of change documentation, obtain financial approval, develop implementation plans, and support the implementation of the solution.
  • Collaborate with the team to design and implement improvement projects that promote sustainability and optimize plant performance.
  • Communicate effectively with plant operators and management to ensure the successful implementation of projects.
Requirements
  • On course for a degree in Chemical or Environmental Engineering (BEng or MEng).
  • Excellent verbal, written, and presentation skills to communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Self-driven, with a passion for engineering and continuous professional development.
  • Able to articulate concepts and/or technical problems to both plant operators and management.

Vivergo Fuels operates on the Saltend Chemicals complex in Hull, part of the AB Sugar division within ABF (Associated British Foods). We convert locally sourced feed wheat into bioethanol, a more environmentally friendly transport fuel, and a highly nutritious animal feed for the dairy industry.
