Your expertise will be crucial in reviewing and updating VAT policies and procedures, assisting with the preparation of VAT returns, conducting VAT audits, and liaising with HMRC. Additionally, you will participate in strategic financial decision-making and provide training to staff on VAT-related matters. To be successful in this role, you will have an Accounting degree or equivalent qualification, strong knowledge of VAT regulations and legislations, experience in a similar role within a not-for-profit organization, excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, strong communication and presentation skills, and the ability to work collaboratively and lead a team. In return, you will receive a competitive salary in the range of £35,000 - £49,700 per annum DOE, generous holiday leave, a supportive work environment that values learning and development, and the opportunity to contribute to a not-for-profit organization with a noble mission.
