This role involves working closely with patients who require enteral feeding and ensuring their carers are supported. You will be responsible for managing your own day-to-day caseload and working closely with patients, their carers, and local healthcare professionals to provide an invaluable service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing clinical support and interventions to patients, carers, and healthcare professionals on the use of enteral feeding pumps, associated feeding equipment, and procedures.
  • Facilitating patient discharges and reducing unnecessary referrals to hospitals by improving care and the overall patient experience.
  • Collaborating with Dietitians and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Developing and delivering training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of healthcare professionals.
  • Conducting clinical assessments and developing personalized care plans to meet the unique needs of patients.

Requirements:

  • NMC registration as a nurse.
  • Proven experience in enteral feeding and patient care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
  • Strong clinical knowledge and skills.
