We are seeking a reliable and caring Special Needs Transport Specialist to join our team at Kinect Services Ltd.
This part-time role involves transporting children and adults with special needs (SEN) or other vulnerabilities to and from schools, colleges, and day care centres.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish positive relationships with passengers, their carers or parents, and staff at the destinations.
- Maintain the vehicle in a roadworthy condition, ensuring cleanliness and tidiness at all times.
Requirements:
- Hold a valid UK driving license for at least 3 years.
- Drive a range of company vehicles, including cars, 8-seat minibuses, and larger wheelchair-accessible vehicles.
- Pass an enhanced criminal record (DBS) check, as this role involves working with vulnerable individuals.
- Meet Group 2 medical standards to comply with licensing requirements.
- Have the right to work in the UK.
- A competitive salary of £9,000 - £18,000 per annum (£750 - £1,500 per month), depending on experience.
- A flexible schedule, Monday to Friday, with no weekends required.
