Smile Education is seeking an experienced and passionate Inclusive Learning Manager to join our dedicated team in a full-time permanent position. Based in the area, you will play a vital role in supporting students with special educational needs (SEN) and ensuring their safeguarding and welfare.

About the Role:

  • Develop and lead the implementation of effective SEN strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and external agencies to provide tailored support and interventions for students with additional needs.
  • Design and deliver professional development opportunities to enhance staff skills and knowledge in supporting students with SEN.
  • Work closely with senior leadership and pastoral teams to create a positive and inclusive school culture.
  • Ensure seamless communication with parents, carers, and external professionals to provide comprehensive support for students with SEN.

Safeguarding Leadership:

  • Develop and oversee the school's safeguarding policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practice.
  • Provide expert guidance and support to staff on safeguarding matters, including child protection, early help, and responding to disclosures.
  • Lead and coordinate whole-school safeguarding initiatives, promoting a culture of awareness and inclusivity.
  • Collaborate with external agencies to develop and implement effective safeguarding practices.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of safeguarding policies and procedures.
