Biology Teacher Position in a Coeducational Secondary School

This position involves teaching KS3 to KS4 Science classes in a Coeducational Secondary School in South London.

The school is rated 'Good' by Ofsted and has state of the art buildings, providing an inspiring work environment for staff and pupils.

The team is looking to ensure a smooth transition for pupils that complete their GCSEs and move on to A Levels, working closely with the associated 6th Form in the area.

Literacy is highly valued by the team, and there is a conscious effort for parents to encourage their children to regularly read outside of school.

Clubs and extracurricular activities at the school include Volleyball, Football, Chess, Anime/Comics, ICT, Art, Basketball, Boardgames, Theatre, Cooking, Music, Science, Athletics, Boxing, English, and Japanese.

Requirements
  • Right to work in the UK
  • UK QTS or overseas equivalent
  • Clear and up to date Enhanced DBS
  • Experience as a Biology Teacher in UK schools
