Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Specialist to join our team at Yolk Recruitment Ltd. As a Senior Procurement Specialist, you will play a key role in the development of our Procurement team, managing internal relationships with senior stakeholders and acting as a credible expert representative.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the development of the Procurement team as an exemplar in the field of procurement
  • Manage internal relationships with senior stakeholders and act as a credible expert representative
  • Provide Procurement Partner support to designated business areas, reducing costs and improving compliance
  • Negotiate contractual agreements with strategic providers and satisfy day-to-day procurement requirements to ensure added value, savings, total cost management, quality, and surety of supply
  • Identify and implement strategies to manage and mitigate risks and contractual risks to the business

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable track record of managing high-volume contracts in a fast-paced environment, ideally front-line procurement such as maintenance contracts
  • Experience of contract dispute resolution
  • Exposure to working in Procurement across the Public Sector is desirable
