Occupational Therapist Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated occupational therapist to join our community team at NonStop Consulting. This rewarding opportunity will enable you to work closely with adults and children, enhancing their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert occupational therapy support in social care, paediatrics, and reablement settings.
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for moving and handling, seating, and home adaptations to ensure clients receive the best possible care.
  • Collaborate with clients and caregivers to recommend and implement specialized equipment and adaptations, prioritizing client needs and preferences.
  • Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team to provide holistic care, promoting seamless service delivery and improved outcomes.
  • Utilize exceptional communication and negotiation skills to advocate for client needs, ensuring timely access to necessary services and resources.
Requirements:
  • Holds current HCPC registration as an occupational therapist.
  • Possesses significant experience in social care, paediatrics, and reablement, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • Demonstrates expertise in moving and handling, seating assessment, and home adaptations, with a strong understanding of relevant legislation and guidelines.
  • Has in-depth knowledge of specialized equipment provision for adults and children, with a focus on delivering tailored solutions that meet individual needs.
  • Exhibits excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with a passion for building strong relationships with clients, caregivers, and healthcare professionals.
Salary and Benefits:

The estimated salary for this role is £45,000 - £55,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including professional development opportunities, flexible working arrangements, and a supportive team environment.
