About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to join our team at Greenwich Primary School. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with learning disabilities and ensuring they receive the best possible education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to pupils with learning disabilities, promoting their social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Assist with lesson planning, preparation, and delivery, ensuring that pupils receive a high-quality education.
  • Support pupils with daily living skills, such as personal care and hygiene, and promote independence.
  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers, and other professionals to ensure a consistent approach to supporting pupils.

Requirements
  • Experience of working with children with learning disabilities or special educational needs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • A graduate or candidate with good academic qualifications.
  • A passion for supporting pupils with learning disabilities and a commitment to making a positive difference in their lives.
