Mencap NI is seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as an Inclusion Consultant (Research). This exciting role offers the opportunity to contribute to the organization's mission of promoting the rights and inclusion of people with learning disabilities.
About the Role
The Inclusion Consultant (Research) will work closely with colleagues to design, implement, and evaluate research projects that aim to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities. The successful candidate will have a strong interest in research and a willingness to learn new skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct research to identify best practices and areas for improvement in the field of learning disability inclusion
- Develop and implement research projects that align with Mencap NI's strategic objectives
- Collaborate with colleagues to analyze data and draw meaningful conclusions
- Communicate research findings to stakeholders through reports, presentations, and other materials
- Stay up-to-date with the latest research and trends in the field of learning disability inclusion
Requirements
- Strong research skills and experience in conducting research projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Passion for promoting the rights and inclusion of people with learning disabilities
