About the Role

• As a Radiography Superintendent, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the MRI service, including planning and coordinating patient pathways, supervising staff, and maintaining accurate records.">
• You will also be involved in the development and implementation of new MRI techniques and procedures, working closely with the clinical team to ensure that these are integrated into our existing services.">
• In addition, you will contribute to the overall performance of the diagnostic imaging department, participating in quality improvement initiatives and promoting best practice across the team.">

Key Responsibilities

• Provide leadership and management of the MRI service, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and adherence to departmental policies.">
• Develop and implement effective strategies for improving the efficiency and effectiveness of the MRI service, including workflow optimization and resource allocation.">
• Schedule and supervise MRI exams, ensuring timely completion and maintaining accurate records.">
• Lead and manage a team of MRI radiographers, providing guidance and support as needed.">
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of MRI services with other diagnostic modalities.">

Requirements

• ">
• Current registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)">
• Masters level qualification or equivalent experience in delivery of MRI services">
• Proven experience in leading teams and managing services">
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills">
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and prioritize tasks efficiently">
