We are seeking a highly skilled C&I Engineer to join our technical services team based in Capenhurst, Chester. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing control systems for our nuclear technology projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop control systems for process factories, including specification and simulation of control system performance.
  • Work with subcontractors to check and approve detail design drawings and attend tests at suppliers' factories.
  • Liaise with the Section Head and other specialist engineers to ensure the satisfactory delivery of work.
  • Analyse plant process, commissioning, and test data to establish areas for performance and efficiency improvements.
  • Develop and maintain core reference design standards for all aspects of control system design.
Requirements
  • A good quality degree in electrical or electronic engineering or related discipline.
  • Experience of specifying or designing control systems for a range of applications in process factories.
  • Knowledge of PLC programming requirements and standards, SCADA design and configuration, and instrumentation design.
  • Practical experience of equipment testing and good interpersonal skills.
