Ayesa - UK and Ireland is seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our Water and Wastewater division. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering civil engineering expertise to support project delivery for water services projects in the UK and Saudi Arabia.
Key Responsibilities- Interface effectively with other engineering disciplines, including process, mechanical and electrical, and structural.
- Manage projects in compliance with Ayesa's Integrated Management System (IMS).
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, ideally with a Master's degree.
- Approximately 3-5 years' experience in the design of water and wastewater infrastructure.
- Previous experience with a general contractor or technology provider would be advantageous.
You will need to have:
- Proven practical experience in delivering detailed civil design elements for water industry projects, with a good understanding of UK/Irish industry standards.
- Experience working with UK/Irish Water/contractors in project delivery, resulting in successful engineering solutions implementation.
- Previous involvement in producing water infrastructure design packs, including specifications and drawings, as well as temporary works designs.
- Membership in project design teams for water/wastewater treatment facility studies, design, and construction services.
- Ability to work with and guide technicians, attend meetings with design teams, contractors, and clients, and collaborate with architects and other disciplines.
- Expertise in all aspects of civil engineering water and wastewater infrastructure design, including pumping stations, reservoirs, pipelines, and treatment works.
- Desirable experience in hydraulic modelling and/or surge analysis.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with highly desired skills in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Revit.
- Innovative problem-solving skills, strong work ethic, effective communication abilities, and commitment to Continued Professional Development.
