Machine Operative Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Machine Operative to join our Bridgwater site. As a global independent soft drinks manufacturer with 78 manufacturing sites worldwide, including 6 sites in the UK, we are looking for a talented individual to work on our production line and oversee our beverage filling machine.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of the production team to fulfill day-to-day production targets.
  • Operate and maintain the beverage filling machine to ensure efficient and high-quality production.
  • Collaborate with the shift manager and team members to achieve production goals.
  • Participate in quality control and maintenance activities to ensure the machine is running smoothly.
Benefits:
  • Competitive salary: £33,261.00 (Basic £30,912 + shift allowance £2,349.00)
  • Hourly rate: £15.22ph (Basic £14.15ph + shift allowance £1.07p)
  • Overtime rates: £22.83ph (after 42 hours worked)
  • Permanent role with a 4 on 4 off shift pattern (2 days, 2 nights, 4 off)
  • 22 days holiday (264 hours over the year)
