Lab Technician

Job Summary:

Vibe Recruit is seeking a highly skilled Lab Technician to join our client's team in a leading international manufacturing business. As a key member of the production and quality assurance teams, you will be responsible for conducting various tests and analyses on materials to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct tests and analyses on raw materials, in-process samples, and finished products to evaluate properties such as tensile strength, elasticity, and durability.
• Ensure that all products meet specified quality standards by identifying defects and recommending process improvements.
• Maintain accurate records of all tests and analyses, including data entry and report generation.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Provide technical support to the production team and assist in troubleshooting issues related to materials.
• Assist in the development of new formulations and processes by conducting experiments and providing feedback.

Requirements:

• A degree (or equivalent) in Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field.
• Experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in the polymer or manufacturing industry.
• Knowledge of ISO quality management systems is a plus.
