About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Analyst - Finance Business Partner to join our Global IT function. As a key member of our Finance Business Partnering team, you will play a critical role in supporting budgeting and forecasting for National Grid's Global IT organisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive financial models to support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate the financial impact of various initiatives and projects.
  • Provide analytical support to executive leadership and other key stakeholders to inform sound financial and operational decisions.
  • Develop and present business commentary and perform ad hoc analyses to support financial planning and decision-making.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation to drive financial planning and analysis.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Math, Finance, Economics, Statistics, or a quantitative field.
  • 3+ years of finance-related experience, with a strong background in financial planning and analysis.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present complex financial information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience in financial modelling and data analysis.
  • Experience with SAP, SAC, Alteryx, PowerBI, or other financial planning and analysis tools.
