Job Title: Project Estimator

We are seeking a skilled Project Estimator to join our Estimating Team at Connect IT Utility Services Limited. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business growth by delivering high-quality estimates and quotations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review drawings, documents, specifications, and scopes to ensure contract requirements are thoroughly identified.
  • Develop robust and detailed quotations that meet customer needs and expectations.
  • Carry out desktop quotations for standard specification works and visit sites to ascertain conditions and constraints.
  • Liaise with the commercial team to ensure scope surveys achieve framework obligations and business objectives.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders, including regular updates to the Framework Project Manager.
Requirements:
  • At least 4 years of experience delivering contractor projects, planning, and delivery.
  • Degree/HNC qualified or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, ideally Power Networks.
  • Sound knowledge of CDM requirements and working knowledge of NEC contracts.
  • Proficient in the use of IT systems and great communication skills (written and verbal).
  • UK driving license and comfortable visiting sites around the South of England.
