Business Continuity Coordinator

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join ION's specialist team, where you will play a key role in implementing the Business Continuity Planning programme across ION Markets. As our Business Continuity Coordinator, you will be responsible for designing and managing the operational structure and management for business resilience. You will work closely with the Operational Resilience function to contribute to broader resilience and Business Continuity Planning work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement Business Continuity Plans, in alignment with ION's Business Critical services.
  • Oversee the implementation and completion of Business Impact Assessments for business and technical functions.
  • Determine prioritization for creation of Business Continuity Plans and develop a Business Continuity management framework.
  • Monitor and improve Business Continuity planning processes in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.
  • Report Business Continuity status, risks, and Recovery Time Objective/Recovery Point Objective targets across the Markets estate.
  • Collaborate effectively with senior internal stakeholders on operational resilience and regulatory developments.

Requirements:

  • Experience in all aspects of Business Continuity, including implementation and management of Business Continuity Planning programmes.
  • Hands-on experience of implementing Fusion RM BCP planning and resilience modules.
  • Experience of using Fusion analytics tools to manage, measure, and monitor Business Continuity.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing practical Continuity processes and frameworks.
  • Deep knowledge of UK and European regulations, DORA, and CP26/23 Operational Resilience requirements for Critical Third Parties.
