Senior/Principal Antenna Design Engineer | Up to £68k | SC Eligibility Required | Hybrid | Bath

We are seeking an experienced Antenna Design Engineer to join our team. As a proactive self-starter, you will have the opportunity to work on innovative antenna structures within the aerospace and defense industry.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in electromagnetic simulation, antenna measurement, and model-driven engineering. You will be responsible for designing and delivering high-performance antennas using supercomputing facilities, as well as managing complex antenna design and product development.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Design and deliver innovative antennas with supercomputing facilities.
  2. Manage complex antenna design and product development.
  3. Travel periodically for technical reviews of products.

Requirements:

  1. Eligibility for security clearance.
  2. Experience with electromagnetic simulation tools (CST Microwave Studio, FEKO, HFSS).
  3. Theoretical and/or practical knowledge of antenna measurement and related equipment (VNA, Spectrum Analyser, etc.).
  4. Experience with model-driven engineering using MATLAB & Simulink.
  5. Deep understanding of system requirements to derive design and architecture requirements.
  6. Strong communication skills with experience in multidisciplinary teams.
