Job Overview

TXM Recruit is currently seeking a skilled Water Manager to join our team. This permanent position offers a competitive salary of up to £50,000 per annum, making it an attractive opportunity for professionals looking to advance their careers in facilities management.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the water team, ensuring that planned preventive maintenance, testing, breakdown maintenance, and other maintenance-related activities are completed efficiently and effectively. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of current regulations, codes of practice, Health & Safety regulations, HTMs, and all safety rules and Statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the water team, systems, and plant across the estate, ensuring compliance with current legislation and guidance.
• Ensure logbooks and records are maintained, up to date, and available for audits/inspections as required.
• Act as Responsible Person (RP) for Water Services across the Estate.
• Interpret and work from all instructions, drawings, and specifications appropriate to his/her own trade, without supervision.
• Provide reports, calculations, and recommendations for the correct and efficient running of all plant and equipment.
• Undertake additional and continual training in job skills and techniques to meet personal and organisational aims.

Requirements

• Previous experience of working within a health care environment in a water role (desirable).
• Legionella/TMV/Disinfection awareness and training.
• HTM 04 RP/CP training.
• Strong mechanical knowledge is advantageous for understanding the technical aspects of water systems.
• Excellent organisational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Strong management skills.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced environment.

Working Hours

This full-time position operates Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 PM.
