Job Title: Mental Health Support Worker

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Mental Health Support Worker to join our team. As a Mental Health Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mental health needs, promoting their independence, and enhancing their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centered support to individuals with mental health needs, promoting their independence and autonomy.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, working closely with individuals, their families, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Support individuals with daily living tasks, such as personal care, meal preparation, and medication management.
  • Encourage and facilitate social interaction, promoting a sense of community and connection.
  • Monitor and report any changes in an individual's mental health, ensuring timely interventions and support.
Requirements:
  • Experience working in mental health care, preferably in a support worker role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with individuals and their families.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and bank holidays.
  • Knowledge of mental health principles, practices, and legislation.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and adhere to data protection policies.
