We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator to work on a short-term contract with possible extension. The ideal candidate will have experience in MIG and/or TIG welding and be available to work Monday to Thursday 8am-5pm and Friday 8am-4pm. The hourly rate for this position is dependent on skill set and negotiable upon completion of a welding test, estimated at £20-£25 per hour.


The successful candidate will perform MIG and TIG welding on materials such as steel, aluminium and stainless steel. Key responsibilities include reading and interpreting technical drawings, preparing materials, inspecting completed work and maintaining and servicing welding equipment.


  • Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on various metal alloys.
  • Read and interpret complex technical drawings, blueprints and specifications.
  • Prepare materials for welding by cutting, shaping and fitting components.
  • Inspect completed work to ensure it meets quality standards and tolerances.
  • Maintain and service welding equipment to ensure optimal performance.
