Mechatronics Engineering Apprentice

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Mechanical Systems Engineer. This role offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills in mechatronics and advanced manufacturing.

Job Summary

This position involves working on various projects, including installation, testing, and commissioning of new automated equipment, fault finding, troubleshooting, and rectification of issues, planned and preventative maintenance activities, and modifications and upgrades to existing equipment.

  • Electrical, electronic, and control systems
  • Mechanical engineering principles
  • Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
  • Safe working practices and maintenance procedures
Key Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for engineering and technology, good problem-solving abilities, and the motivation to work both independently and as part of a team. Comprehensive training will be provided.

  • You are a UK national, or a non-UK national with the right to work in the UK, or an EU national with settled status in the UK, and have lived in the UK or an EEA/British overseas territory for 3 years or more prior to commencing the apprenticeship
  • You will be resident in the UK for the entire duration of the program
  • You are not registered to study on a UK government-funded course ending August 2025 or later
  • You will be 18 years old or older before entering an Amazon building
  • You have a minimum of 3 GCSEs at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent): Maths, English, and a science/technology subject

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 per annum. The salary may vary based on location and performance.
