About the Position:

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Data Support Specialist to join our team at Hays Careers. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining our school's SIMS database, ensuring data accuracy and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Data Management: Oversee the day-to-day operations of our SIMS database, including data entry and management.
  • Marksheets and Assessments: Create and manage marksheets and assessment data within SIMS, ensuring accurate and timely reporting.
  • Excel Analysis: Utilise Excel to develop and manage complex spreadsheets, pivot tables, and graphs for data analysis and reporting.
  • Publisher Support: Perform desktop publishing tasks using Microsoft Publisher to support school communications and documentation.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in a similar data assistant role, preferably within an educational setting.
  • School Environment: Familiarity with the school environment and administrative processes.
  • Certification: A current Enhanced DBS check is required.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using SIMS, as well as strong skills in Excel and Publisher.
Salary and Benefits:

This role offers a competitive salary of £28,500 per annum, based on experience. You will also have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and supportive team environment, contributing to the success of our school.
