Job Description: Visual Information Manager

The role of the BIM Coordinator at SSE Transmission involves managing and developing project information and business documentation across various projects. Key duties include:

  • Configuring and managing the SSEN Transmission Common Data Environment (CDE) and Autodesk Construction Cloud to meet project needs.
  • Preparing information requirements documentation in line with BS EN ISO 19650 series and the UK BIM Framework.
  • Acting as the main point of contact for all BIM-related tasks on assigned projects and coordinating the sharing of commercially sensitive or confidential model information.
  • Verifying and validating accuracy and completeness of model information and asset data.

To be successful in this role, you will have proven ability to provide technical support to project teams and identify business/project and technical improvements. Knowledge of ISO 19650 and UK BIM Framework guidance and industry standard best practices and processes for information management is essential.

This position comes with a competitive salary range of £35,000 - £50,000 per annum, depending on experience.
