About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Rebuild/Repair Engineer to join our team at Finning. As a key member of our workshop team, you will be responsible for the repair and maintenance of CAT machinery, working in a large workshop environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Undertake detailed inspections of machinery to identify repair requirements
  • Carry out standard diagnosis tests to enable accurate cost evaluations
  • Produce comprehensive lists of parts and materials required for repair work
  • Undertake overhaul, repair, or refurbishment work on machinery to agreed work plans
  • Inspect and test completed machinery to ensure it meets expected performance levels

Requirements

  • 5+ years' experience in a quality service environment, preferably in plant machinery or a similar industry
  • Apprentice-trained or equivalent experience
  • Licence to drive reach trucks
  • Practical experience in operating construction equipment in confined spaces and mechanical fitting work on large-scale machines
