Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Porter to join our team at Philema Hospitality Management Enterprise. As a Kitchen Porter, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen production areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assisting with Kitchen Operations: Assist with the efficient running of kitchen production areas, including washing dishes, preparing food, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Food Preparation and Presentation: Assist in basic food preparation, including washing, peeling, and chopping ingredients, as well as presenting dishes to a high standard.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation: Maintain the kitchen work areas in accordance with HACCP regulations, including cleaning pots, pans, and utensils, and storing away all crockery, cutlery, and glassware.
  • Waste Management: Empty bins when they are full and report any fault equipment to the kitchen manager or chef.
  • Teamwork and Communication: Work effectively with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery, and communicate information throughout the hotel.
  • Health and Safety: Understand responsibilities in relation to Fire Procedures, Health and Safety, COSHH, Infection Control, and Emergency Aid.
