Senior Corporate Reporting Accountant

As a Senior Corporate Reporting Accountant, you will be part of a global network of accomplished professionals in 110 countries. Our Finance team, based in London's Southbank, is hiring a hybrid role responsible for monthly management accounting, business partnering with HR and the Payroll department, driving process improvement, and monthly management accounting and reporting.
- Reconcile monthly payroll changes and calculations, liaise with HR and Payroll to resolve any issues to ensure completeness.
- Work with SSC to accrue/prepay monthly costs, prepare journals for specific departments, and produce monthly reporting packs and commentary analysis on variances.
- Produce variance analysis on a monthly basis against budget and proforma.
- Ensure balance sheet reconciliations are completed, reviewed, and signed off on a monthly basis.
- Upload monthly management accounts to the consolidation database (BFC) and reconcile to local ledger (Dynamics D365).
- Operate within a robust SOX control environment and help develop best practices.
- Perform ad hoc duties, including checking payment runs, audit and tax queries, quarterly analysis, and statutory accounts.
What you'll need:
- An accounting qualification (ACCA, ACA, etc.).
- Staff cost knowledge is preferable but not essential.
- Experience in the month-end process, accruals, and prepayments.
- Willingness to help other areas during busy periods.
- A change champion who looks at current processes and workflows and makes recommendations for improving them where appropriate.
