About the Role

The Appraiser will be responsible for inspecting qualified vehicles, writing damage appraisals, and handling all appraisals, work authorizations, repair orders, supplements, and warranties with customers. They will also follow up on customer appraisals to increase the closing ratio, communicate with adjusters, production staff, and customers regarding repair status, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect qualified vehicles and write damage appraisals.
  • Handle all appraisals, work authorizations, repair orders, supplements, and warranties with customers.
  • Follow up on customer appraisals to increase the closing ratio.
  • Ongoing communication with adjusters, production staff, and customers regarding repair status.
  • Inspect repair and meet with customers to ensure satisfaction.
  • Work to resolve customer concerns or dissatisfaction.

Responsibilities also include updating and organizing WIP reports, participating in daily production meetings, and cooperating with staff in planning meetings and schedules. The Appraiser ensures all parts are ordered correctly and in a timely fashion and communicates with customers about outstanding moneys owing.
