Role Overview:

Aim is seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Sales and Marketing Manager. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and developing marketing strategies to engage with potential customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct Customer Engagement: You will be trained to engage directly with potential customers, educating them about our energy solutions and driving sales while delivering excellent service.
  • Sales Execution: You will demonstrate our renewable energy products and services, answer customer questions, and close sales, ensuring you meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Team Collaboration: You will work closely with fellow trainees and senior team members to learn effective marketing strategies and sales techniques.
  • Market Research: You will gather insights directly from the field to understand customer needs and improve our approach, contributing to strategy development.
  • Training and Development: You will participate in comprehensive training sessions covering product knowledge, sales skills, and marketing strategies to accelerate your growth.
  • Leadership Development: As you gain experience, you will begin to train new hires and eventually manage a small team, leading field campaigns and developing marketing initiatives.
  • Performance Tracking: You will use our CRM system and sales tools to monitor your progress, set personal and team goals, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Field Campaign Management: You will assist in planning and executing field marketing events and activities designed to boost brand awareness and generate leads.
Requirements:
  • Education: A background in Marketing, Business, or a related field is preferred but not required. We value enthusiasm and the willingness to learn.
  • Sales or Customer Service Experience: Previous experience in a sales or customer-facing role is beneficial but not essential; we provide comprehensive training.
  • Communication Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the confidence to engage and influence customers directly.
  • Adaptability: Ability to work in various outdoor and indoor field environments and adapt to different customer interactions.
  • Leadership Potential: Ambition to grow into a managerial role, with a proactive approach to learning and personal development.
  • Technology Proficiency: Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM software for tracking sales progress and customer data.
  • Work Rights: Full and unrestricted right to work in the UK (unfortunately, we cannot consider Tier 4 or PSW visa holders).
  • Application Criteria: Must not have applied to Aim in the past 30 days.
