Job Summary:

RSK Group, a leading international health, safety, and environmental consultancy, is seeking an experienced Asbestos Consultant to join our successful national asbestos team on a permanent, full-time basis. This home-based role requires commutability to Livingston and involves some travel as needed.

About the Role:

  • Conduct building surveys and bulk sampling to identify asbestos-containing materials.
  • Perform asbestos monitoring and clearances, ensuring accurate reporting and certification.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing exceptional customer service.
  • Manage projects and small teams, utilizing strong organizational and communication skills.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience in a similar role within a UKAS-accredited organization.
  • P403 and P404 and/or P402 OR S301 (W504) with CoCA certifications.
  • Proficiency in MS Office packages, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to write accurate and concise technical reports.
  • Organized and proactive, with the ability to multitask and work independently.
  • Team player, able to build rapport within an established team.
  • Ability and willingness to travel regularly, as well as work weekends on occasion.
  • Full driver's license.

Benefits:

  • Full-time, permanent position with 37.5 hours per week plus overtime (when required).
  • Salary: Up to £35,000 + car allowance.
