Job Title: Computer Science Tutor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Computer Science Tutor to join our team at John Ruskin College. As a Computer Science Tutor, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning to our students, helping them to achieve their full potential in GCSE Computer Science.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver engaging and interactive lessons to students of various ages and abilities
  • Develop and implement effective lesson plans to meet the needs of all students
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to improve their learning
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to develop and implement curriculum plans
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive learning environment
Requirements:
  • Full teaching qualification
  • Ability to deliver GCSE Computer Science
  • Minimum of an A Level in Sciences (Degree qualification desired)
  • Recent experience teaching GCSE and Functional Skills
  • Experience teaching both adult and 16-18 year old students
