Senior Health and Safety Advisor

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Forward Assist Recruitment. As a key member of our SHEQ department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the health, safety, and environmental standards of our clients' projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in health and safety, with a minimum of 5 years' experience working in the utilities sector, preferably in the power sector. A NEBOSH diploma and NCRQ level 6 certification are essential requirements for this role.
Your primary responsibility will be to manage the SHEQ team for your area of responsibility, ensuring that all personnel work in accordance with company health and safety policies and procedures. You will also be responsible for monitoring contractor arrangements, providing specialist advice on safety policies, and recommending disciplinary procedures where necessary.
A competitive salary of £60,000 - £70,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this challenging position. In addition, you will receive a comprehensive benefits package, including a full UK driving license.
