About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Senior Children\u0027s Residential Support Worker to join our team at Leader Recruitment Group.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality care and support to children and young people with complex needs, emotional and behavioural challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the team to advocate for the positive development of young individuals, fostering a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Support the Service Manager in ensuring efficient day-to-day management and high-quality care.
  • Lead a team in providing therapeutic care, addressing the unique needs of each child.
  • Maintain comprehensive records, including event logs, progress reports, and care plans.
  • Serve as a positive role model for both colleagues and children, addressing their daily needs and fostering trust and growth.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 12 months experience in a child-centred, therapeutic environment.
  • Qualification: Level 3 qualification in Caring for Children and Young People (or equivalent).
  • Driving License: Must hold a full UK driving license.
  • Flexibility: Ability to cover long day shifts, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Right to Work: Must have the right to work in the UK.
