About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our facilities and maintenance department, you'll be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our venues and fairgrounds. This will involve:

  • Supporting the Facilities Manager in maintaining the highest standards of repair and maintenance
  • Developing and implementing a planned maintenance program to minimize downtime and ensure guest satisfaction
  • Leading and motivating a high-performing team of maintenance staff to deliver exceptional service experiences
  • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation and company policies

Key Responsibilities

As a Facilities Operations Manager, you'll be responsible for:

  • Managing and maintaining the fairgrounds and venues to ensure they're safe and operational
  • Coordinating and supervising maintenance activities to minimize disruption to guests
  • Developing and implementing maintenance schedules to prevent equipment failure and reduce downtime
  • Collaborating with other departments to ensure seamless delivery of services

About You

We're looking for a highly skilled and experienced individual with a strong background in facilities management and maintenance. You'll need:

  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices
  • Experience in a similar role within the trade construction industry
  • Knowledge of mechanical and hydraulic components
