MAC Clinical Research is seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our dedicated team in Blackpool. As a key member of our HR function, you will provide strategic support to our senior management stakeholders, driving business growth and excellence through effective HR practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide HR support across all levels of the organisation, ensuring compliance with regulatory and legislative requirements.
  • Oversee employee relations issues, escalating to the Head of Global HR as necessary.
  • Support the Head of Global HR in policy writing, maintaining the UK employee handbook, and developing a HR function outside of the UK.
  • Collaborate with the Recruitment Manager to ensure a joined-up approach to recruiting activities.
  • Manage absence, including holidays and sickness reporting, and oversee the collation and submission of relevant information to the Finance department for payroll.
  • Deliver training to Line Managers on HR-related processes and build relationships with external contacts.
  • Contribute to the creation of solutions to improve and standardise the HR service, identifying opportunities for improvement.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' HR experience, with a proven background as an HR professional working with senior management stakeholders.
  • Commercial acumen, with a data-driven approach and ability to manage budgets.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships at all levels.
