About the Role
Amazon UK Services Ltd. is seeking a skilled Operations Manager to lead our teams and drive operational excellence across our sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and develop a team of Area Managers to achieve business objectives.
- Lead operational teams on a shift, addressing issues and positively impacting site performance.
- Analyse shift performance against relevant business objectives and implement actions to improve operational excellence.
- Collaborate closely with support teams, including HR, Finance, Health and Safety, and Security.
- Design and deliver initiatives to enhance operational performance across the sites.
A Day in the Life
You'll lead shifts at one of our operational sites, serving as the key link between various teams. This involves being close to day-to-day operations while contributing to innovative solutions.
About the Team
Amazon Logistics (AMZL) handles 'last mile' delivery duties in partnership with third-party distribution businesses. We leverage creative thinking and continuous improvement initiatives to deliver millions of physical products to our customers.
Requirements
- A degree
- Relevant experience in people and stakeholder management
- Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English and intermediate proficiency in the local language
- Relevant experience in using data or anecdotal evidence to influence business decisions
- Relevant experience in key areas of production and supply chains
