CNC Lead Programmer/Engineering Forman

Rayburn Plastics Ltd is a leading manufacturer of precision components for various industries. We are seeking an experienced CNC lead programmer/engineering forman to join our team.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CAM programming using SolidCAM or AlphaCAM, as well as experience in managing a team of engineers. They will be responsible for reducing machining run times, designing complex work holding and jig fixture systems, and monitoring work throughput.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Programming and setting up CNC machines
  • Managing a team of engineers
  • Designing and implementing work holding and jig fixture systems
  • Monitoring work throughput and reducing machining run times

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in CAM programming using SolidCAM or AlphaCAM
  • 5+ years of experience in managing a team of engineers
  • Experience in programming, setting, and operating 5-axis CNC machines
  • CAD skills using Solidworks
  • Able to read technical drawings to a high level
  • Able to use measuring equipment
  • Machining experience in various materials

Preferred qualifications include experience in machine maintenance, CNC CMM, HMC, turning, manual milling, 5S, 6 sigma, and robotic integration/line builder experience.
