Security Guardian

Are you looking for a job where every day is different and exciting? As a Relief Security Officer with Securitas Security Services, your role will involve ensuring safety and order while enjoying flexibility in your lifestyle.

Your work schedule will be 36 hours a week, including days and nights, with opportunities to travel. To be successful in this position, you must possess a valid SIA licence and have access to a vehicle.

• You will be responsible for the secure protection of our clients' property, company assets, and visitors, as well as being part of a great team on site.
• This role involves working as part of the site security team, conducting regular patrols around the large site, even in inclement weather conditions.
• Other key responsibilities include registering contractors, issuing temporary badges, booking in/out cars, directing visitors, and providing a visible and proactive security presence for all employees and visitors.
• You will also be responsible for controlling access to the site at multiple control points, monitoring CCTV, and gaining experience with gatehouse operations and Access Control passes.

• SIA licence
• Full UK driving licence with own transport due to location of sites
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Right to work in the UK and a 5-year checkable history
• Ability to work shifts covering days, nights, and weekends
• Previous security experience (1 year minimum)
• IT literacy
