Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic teacher to join our team as a Year 5 Class Teacher. The successful candidate will be passionate about teaching and willing to instil that passion in our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver Engaging Lessons: Plan and deliver comprehensive and well-planned lessons that cater to the needs of our students.
  • Classroom Management: Maintain a well-organised classroom and ensure the safe use and storage of all equipment.
  • Collaboration: Work effectively with other members of staff throughout the school.
  • Assessment and Feedback: Assess students, monitor their progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with the school's policies and procedures.

Requirements:

  • Qualifications: Hold Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Curriculum Knowledge: Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Experience: Have recent experience as a Year 5 Teacher in a primary school.
  • Classroom Management: Have a good level of classroom and behaviour management.
