Job Title: Child and Young People's Counsellor

We are seeking a qualified Counsellor to provide one-on-one support to students facing emotional, social, or behavioural difficulties.

About the Role:
  • Provide counselling sessions to students in need of emotional support.
  • Liaise with teachers, parents, and external agencies to ensure the wellbeing of students.
  • Promote mental health awareness and wellbeing strategies within the school community.
  • Work with students to develop coping strategies and improve their emotional resilience.
Requirements:
  • Qualified in Counselling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
  • Experience working with young people, preferably within an educational setting.
  • Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies.
  • Enhanced DBS check and on the update service (or willingness to apply for one).
