Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Oversee and manage the mechanical or electrical aspects of the data centre fit-out project, ensuring it is completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
  • Coordination: Work closely with architects, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure effective communication and coordination throughout the project.
  • Quality Control: Implement rigorous quality control measures and conduct regular site inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.
  • Health and Safety: Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, conducting risk assessments and implementing necessary safety protocols.
  • Budget Management: Monitor project costs and manage budgets effectively, ensuring financial targets are met.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing any issues or concerns.
Requirements:
  • Proven Experience: Proven experience as a Construction Manager within the building services sector, preferably with data centre projects.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical or electrical systems and construction processes.
  • Leadership Skills: Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with the ability to manage multiple aspects of a project simultaneously.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software and tools.
