At Jameson Legal, we are seeking a talented solicitor to join our life sciences team. As a key commercial sector focus for our client, life sciences is a dynamic and rapidly evolving field that requires innovative and ambitious lawyers to drive growth and success.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Advise on complex IP agreements, biopharma partnering arrangements, and other commercial contracts in the life science and healthcare sectors.
  • Work with clients to bring new therapies, platforms, and products to market, leveraging cutting-edge technology and expertise.
  • Collaborate with clients across the pharmaceutical, biotech, medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, and healthcare sectors.

Requirements:

  • Excellent academics, with a STEM undergraduate degree in a technical area.
  • A qualified solicitor with 2-6 PQE and relevant legal experience gained from a top-tier UK or international practice.
  • Prior experience in a well-regarded life sciences team, advising clients within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and/or medtech industries.
  • Strong IP background with transactional/commercial deal experience, including complex licensing deals and commercial arrangements.
