Job Summary:

As a Mammographer at Bupa, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality breast imaging services to our patients. With a focus on patient care and satisfaction, you will work independently as part of a wider multi-disciplinary team within the clinic.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Organise the daily work programme to ensure efficient department operations.
  • Work flexible hours to accommodate changing workload patterns of the Mammography service.
  • Perform high-quality examinations as required by referring physicians according to departmental policies and procedures.
  • Ensure all patients receive a high standard of care.
  • Accurately analyse acquired data, record results, and produce high-quality images for reporting.
  • Ensure equipment is maintained, cleanliness is upheld, and faults are reported immediately.

Requirements:

  • A flexible and adaptive working attitude is crucial.
  • Use your own initiative in responding to service needs and have a strong focus on streamlining the patient pathway.
  • Work closely with the Lead Mammographer to maintain and enhance the Breast imaging service.

Qualifications:

  • BSc or DCR in Radiography and a Post Graduate Certificate in Mammography.
