Job Role

We are seeking an experienced Employment Advisor to join our team at Seetec Business Technology Centre. As an Employment Advisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals to overcome barriers to employment and achieve their career goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide expert advice and guidance to clients to help them identify and overcome barriers to employment.
  • Develop and implement personalized employment plans to support clients in achieving their career goals.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, employers, and other stakeholders to facilitate job placements and career progression.
  • Conduct job searches and identify potential job opportunities for clients.
  • Ensure all necessary paperwork and documentation is completed accurately and efficiently.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in a target-driven environment.
  • Knowledge of the local labour market and employment trends.
  • Basic knowledge of self-employment and entrepreneurship.
  • Fully IT literate in using Microsoft Office programs.

  • A competitive salary range of £26,500 - £29,545 per annum (dependent on experience).

Location: This is an office-based role, working in Penzance and Helston.

Hours: 37 hours a week. Monday to Thursday 8.30 am to 5pm, Friday 8.30 am to 4.30pm.
